Overly bleached and distressed won’t last as long

The indigo version of this same style is so much better as this one is over distressed in terms of the level of bleaching and wearing away it has in certain areas. Because the wearing away is so high in those areas it actually looks sort of old and used (not in a good way) and is just going to tear/split in those areas quickly with refusal usage and washing. This is not a good thing for a product that costs over a hundred quid (whether in sale or not). I bought this on sale and was unhappy with the worn, over bleached state of it when it arrived, I would’ve been livid if I’d paid full price. Due to these issues the indigo version is also a lot more wearable in more contexts. I u d’état and there’s a place for distressed jeans but these just look old.. having said that the quality is pretty good although the fabric could be stretchier especially with how it fits over the knees (need more room there for flex during walking).
