I bought these for hiking and they are nice and warm and protect my feet from blisters in my boots on adventures. They're really nice; not too thick, not too thin and are comfortable.

Buyer beware! False advertising! Not simply merino

Beware! These are NOT wool socks, with no photo of back side of packaging to show true material composition. Online listing reads the material as purely merino wool which is INCORRECT,l. Upon receiving my order, these are a wool, nylon, elastase blend with no percentages shown to actually confirm how ‘wool rich’ the socks are. Highly disappointed in the false advertising. They look nice but they feel more nylon and plastic than woollen and warm. Lesson learned
