Wide heel, narrow top.

These are meant to be a wide fit…they are, but only in the heel area. The width up the top section is definitely not wide, but the heel is so wide, that no amount of inner soles or heel grips is even enough to make them work for me. Pity, as the shoe itself is lovely.

This is my second pair of Jane Debster loafers in this style (I also have a black pair that are very well-loved, worn frequently and still going strong). They are the most comfortable and verstatile shoes for work. The nude colour is slightly more pink than tan as it appears in the photos online, but still really nice and goes with everything - jeans, work trousers, and skirts/dresses. The block heel provides stability & comfort and the shape is very flattering on the foot. The leather softens quickly but at the same time doesn't stretch out of shape. Have never given me blisters. Good quality and last for years with daily wear - honestly worth every cent!
