Originally purchased this thinking that it was a non-messy solution for feeding my baby purees when they started solids. However, it is annoying to clean and very hard to get enough to the edge of the spoon for my baby to eat since getting an entire spoon into their mouth is not practicable so the end I switched back to normal spoons as they are so much easier to use. That said, my baby recently discovered that getting food out of the pouch directly was faster than a spoon so an attachment like this is useful in preventing them from directly biting on the tip of the pouch.

We purchased this for our baby girl when she was starting on pure pouches. We were initially using normal baby spoons to feed her, I saw these and decided to give them a go. In honesty, I found them to be less convenient than a normal spoon. There seems to be more effort that you put into doing it this way than the spoon way. It was so much messier and a lot more food would be wasted. It takes a bit more coordination to use as you need to get into a rhythm with it. After you get used to it, know how much pressure to use to get the right amount of food out, it's an overall "okay" product. I would not say that it saves time or makes things necessarily easier.
