The 2L capacity is excellent and is exactly what I was looking for. It keeps water hot for a long time, and the size is perfect for home use. However, pressure builds up inside the flask when it contains hot water. When opening the lid, steam and hot water can suddenly splash out due to the built-up pressure. On one occasion, the hot water came very close to my eyes. We have to open the lid very slowly and carefully to release the pressure gradually.
