Charming, weighty and slightly dramatic!

I bought the True Faith Maxi Skirt in Brown and honestly didn’t expect to love it as much as I do. The fabric has a gorgeous weight to it, not heavy in a dragging‑me‑down way, but in that “this is a proper, well‑made skirt” way. It drapes beautifully, swishes when I walk and feels far more expensive than it is. The warm brown shade is surprisingly flattering and works with half my wardrobe, especially rusts and neutrals. Now, for a full disclosure, I’m 1.73m and this skirt is long. Like, “I could star in a period drama sweeping through hallways” long. I sometimes have to do a little hitch‑and‑shuffle so I don’t face‑plant in public, but honestly, it adds to the charm. It’s the kind of skirt that makes you feel elegant… right up until you realise you’re about to step on it and go down like a Victorian fainting goat, but even then, I still love it. The waist is comfortable, the quality is excellent and despite the extra length, it’s become one of my go‑to pieces. If you’re tall and love a dramatic, weighty, beautifully made maxi, this one is absolutely worth it, just be prepared for the occasional graceful skirt‑lift to save your dignity.
