STOP - do not buy this!

Just a bit over 2 years old and a piece of junk that is now not working. Support is ridiculous. A long and painful process. First a repair was carried out, it came back with a new noise and no response from my report of this. Now the heat exchanger has failed and is blocked. I have been fastidious in cleaning lint and the exchanger, and for the last few months, a foul rotten water smell ends up making clothing smell awful and not drying properly. Not only that, it will not dry sheets properly, as in the other reviews. I end up with a tightly rolled sausage shape. Useless! The features all sound great, but a crappy machine with crappy support and no way to prevent the failure of the exchanger that cannot be properly cleaned, and the replacement of this part, has been quoted at almost the price of a new dryer. Buy something else if you are considering this unit!

Worst (and most expensive) lesson I’ve learnt.

I have experienced nothing but issue after issue with this dryer, despite the high end price! Throughout winter, it was impossible to get clothes to fully dry without running it for hours and hours and hours on multiple cycles in desperation to get my family of four’s clothes dry (I usually have to do at least two loads a day in our home). After all that drying, the thing that was persistently noted was a constant damp / mildew / mouldy odour that, no matter what I tried, either from the Samsung manual (NO, it is not th heat exchange - I have cleaned that MULTIPLE times, along with the lint trap AND using their self tub dry mode), I have never been able to eradicate. Which means that unfortunately for my family, we have the option of waiting endlessly for Landry to dry on clothing wracks around the house or put up with clothes that come out of the dryer smelling like wet dogs and / or mildew and mould. Needless to say, I am extremely unsatisfied with this product and I honestly think they should discontinue making it. I will never buy another Samsung laundry appliance again. I have the washer that goes with this and that deserve a 1 star review all of its own! DON’T BUY THIS DRYER!!!

Extremely poor drying and a nightmare with sheets

I really wished I took note of the other reviews. Honestly one of the worst products I've ever purchased/used. It should be illegal for any business to sell products that just don't do what they're supposed to. The dryer is super difficult to use / select the correct drying intensity and time. Drying sheets is impossible, as there is no setting or scenario where the sheets don't get balled up into a really tight ball (one sheet, or many). You'll have to stop the dryer every ten minutes or so to take everything out, unwind, then put everything back in. Ten minutes, you'll need to do the same thing again. Even drying smaller items isn't great. Anything with a pull cord (eg: hoodie) will get caught in the lint filter (it has a series of triangles in the plastic) and again, will twist into a tight ball. This is a very poor product.
