I've bought a lot of bedding over the years, but private collection quilts are on another level. The urban waffle quilt in stone is the perfect neutral - soft, warm, and understated without looking flat or boring. It's brought a genuine sense of calm and elegance to our bedroom. The texture is where this cover really stands out. It adds subtle dimension and visual interest to the bed without being fussy and it photographs beautifully in natural light. Up close you can tell this is quality craftsmanship. The stitching is clean, the seams are sturdy, and the fabric has a lovely weight to it that drapes really well. What surprised me the most is how soft it is and luxurious. No scratchy new feel, it's soft against the skin and gets softer with each wash. It has held it's shape and colour beautifully too with zero pilling or fading after regular use. This is genuinely one of my favourite home purchases this year. Highly recommend to anyone after that elegant, elevated, hotel bed look at home.
