It creates shine, cuts frizz. It would be helpful if you could have more control over the heat setting. I have thin hair so no it does not create volume. Frizz comes back, it doesn't last because that is environmental. It tends to overdry my hair - I don't overdo it (NB my hair is healthy). Would I buy it again? Yes.
