Fantastic Kitchen Assistant

I love, love, love my Magimix. I hesitated until I found it has an insert that facilitates smoothies and other liquids. A ring insert comes standard and helps to create the vortex needed for liquids. This Magimix is very powerful and quick. I am a previous Thermomix user and previous Ninja Foodie user and I prefer this Magimix far and above those machines. So far I have enjoyed making Coleslaw, chopped herbs, regular Hummus, low carb Hummus, different low calorie desserts using blueberries and yoghurt or carob and tofu, nut crumbles, nut butter and nut cookies. Be careful as the blades are very sharp. The machine comes standard with two grater and two slicing sizes. This 4200XL is suitable for two people, with three different size bowls. I'd go one machine size down for one person or one machine size up for more than two people. Also, you need to leave it on the kitchen bench, as it is too heavy to put away each time into a cupboard.

Our new Magimix 4200XL is the business. It is a fine piece of kit and is the best that my wife has used. Besides looking the part, it makes light work of big cooking jobs. It is easy to assemble and easy to clean. Food does not get stuck as there are no fiddly bits. I am glad I bought the Magimix for my wife who is a great cook and helped me write this review. She is a happy little Vegemite and we haven’t argued since.
