Looks good but not without flaws

This set has a lot going for it. There are plenty of minifigures, an awesome part selection in case you just want to build your own fort and the design of the castle is extremely good. I especially prefer this castle shape over the previous one as the asymmetrical design of the perimeter is very nice to look at. However this set is held back greatly by 3 things. The connection points, I have found are hard to move without the walls disconnecting easily. This is annoying but not as frustrating as the lack of room within the castle walls. I don't mean the interior rooms, those are actually quite spacious and I am very pleased with the rooms. Instead what I mean is that the castle is bunched up so tightly together that there isn't much room for you hands to move around the courtyard. Finally I wish that they had included masonry bricks like they did with the previous castle. Masonry bricks are just plain awesome and they add the perfect wood or brick detail. I just find it strange that the 2025 Haunted Mansion gets to have masonry bricks but not a full-blown castle set.
