Time Saver
Prudent08 — 5 out of 5 stars
Great Product! I have been using a slotted spoon for many years until I finally gave in and bought this skimmer. The handle is comfortable and the basket is nice and big (bigger than I expected). I have already made chips for my family, and it was such a huge time saver. Seems durable and withstands heat well. I will enjoy many more uses out of this product.
Solidly build spider strainer with plastic handle
— 5 out of 5 stars
Appears to be solidly built with neat soldering on the metal strainer basket. Unclear if the plastic handle will age well (i.e. degrade) with repeated use and heat but presently the grip feels pleasant in the hand. Size is a bit large than expected but good use case for Asian cuisine/frying or boiling in a deep pot - as is expected of a spider skimmer. Would recommend to purchase when on sale, which occurs periodically.
