Excellent purchase. I needed to replace my Mason Cash ceramic mixing bowl I had used for over 50 years. I decided to buy the Kitchen Aid stainless steel, non slip bowls as they were lighter, unbreakable and the shape being slightly narrower and taller meant they fitted into the cupboard more easily and were also better for whipping cream without it escaping. The lids are also handy for transporting or putting in the fridge. I am very pleased with the mixing bowls and it was a less expensive option than the heavier, breakable, ceramic mixing bowls.
