Fragile, Unsafe, and a Complete Waste of Money

This wok is cheap trash masquerading as quality cookware. The outer non-stick coating scratches ridiculously easily, even when using wooden utensils, and flakes straight into your food. That’s not just disappointing; it’s unsafe. Not only does this wok fall apart quickly, but you’re effectively ingesting bits of its coating while cooking. After researching, I learned that a “non-stick wok” is fundamentally flawed. Woks are designed for high heat, but non-stick coatings break down under those temperatures, releasing harmful chemicals. Unsurprisingly, after just a few uses, the bottom coating completely wore off and everything started sticking, even after properly seasoning it. From what I’ve seen online, this seems to be a recurring issue with the Ken Hom brand. Avoid it entirely.
