Reviews

Good game

RACHELS — 4 out of 5 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the movie Elf, so was very excited to play this game. The instructions were very confusing. The board itself is very pretty and the spinner worked perfectly.

Fun family game night

BellaA — 5 out of 5 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun game to play as a family. It being Elf themed made my kids love it even more because they all love Elf. Family board game night fun for our whole family.

Fun and quick game

BreanaN — 3 out of 5 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Game Of Life Elf was fun to play once we got the hang of it. The Elf theme was appropriate and reminded us of several moments in the movie which was appreciated. However, there was no specific instruction when you arrived to the square with “Stop - Build a New Toy.” The directions did not make it clear whether you were supposed to pick a new toy completely from the top two toy cards in the deck per the start of game rule or just supposed to swap with any toy card from the deck. It was also unclear if you were supposed to add this new toy to your current cards or replace the current toy you had. As for the replayability factor, it’d be most appropriate with 3 players or more. The cards often give options such as taking cheer money from the bank or money from the other players. When you only have 2 players, the banker always paid a higher cheer price and that dictated a lot of the game response. The game lasted about 30-45 minutes and that included learning the rules. Overall, it was a cute game and we will have fun playing it with our nieces and nephews in the future.
