Large version takes longer than stovetop

I have a 2 cup version which produces perfect rice and other grains. I use it every day. I bought a 4 cup version as a gift but found from the recipient that the larger version takes 40 minutes for white rice. I think the advertising should be more upfront that this is not a time saving device. Most people don't know what fuzzy logic is but still need to know it can result in longer cooking times.

Works exactly as described. I’ve used it for white rice, brown rice, quinoa and steel cut oats. Love the small size. It lives on my bench!!
