Disappointing Liquid Eyeliner for a Luxury Brand

I've never tried the Diorshow Liquid Eyeliner before so seized the opportunity when it was on sale. I bought it in the Satin Denim and Satin Burgundy. This eyeliner has nothing on the M.A.C Liquidlast 24-Hour Waterproof Eyeliner! The durability is terrible. The eyeliner draws on easily, smoothly and in a very fine-texture way BUT it disappears VERY QUICKLY within minutes of application and even after countless reapplying, it disappears in the outer corners of my eyes! For some reason, that particular area of my eye seems to have a tendency to "skip" so applying eyeliner in that area can be hit and miss. I think it depends on what skincare I've used too. I don't have that problem with the M.A.C eyeliner so I'm extremely unhappy the Dior version didn't have the same performance. It still costed MORE than the M.A.C even when on sale at 20% off! I'm immensely disappointed for such an expensive eyeliner that the durability is so terrible and doesn't last. The good things about this eyeliner that I like are the fine tip and the colour of the Satin Denim. The fine tip means I can draw an extremely fine line that I struggle to get with the M.A.C version. It reminds me of a really fine tip Artline texta and is extremely easy to use. The blue colour of Satin Denim is very flattering and matches a lot of the blue and silver eyeshadows I like to use to match my outfits. Ultimately, I will NOT be repurchasing this again once it runs out. I will just stick to M.A.C at this stage.
