I'd been looking at clamshell hard cases, and was literally weighing them in my hands when a lovely staff member asked what I was looking for. I explained my upcoming trips, and she suggested a soft case might suit my needs better. I picked this up like it was a feather. Incredible light, well constructed, and the top-opening style was so much easier to wrangle when I ended up in a tiny hotel room. Also -red! So bright and happy, and easy to identify on the baggage carousel.
