Not a well designed product

While it was relatively easy to put together and looks ok from the outside, I think this shoe rack would only work for flat shoes or for people with small feet (I have size 8). I have a lot of heels, unfortunately the backs of most of the shoes catch when you try to shut the doors. Which means I have to twist them to the side, meaning I can't fit as many in. I was hoping to put my partners boots (RM Williams style) in, but that didn't work. The doors didn't even come close to closing when I put his shoes in. Some of my flats slipped through when I closed the doors, meaning shoes don't always stay in the same position when the doors closed. I should have expected the quality was dubious when I saw the inclusion of wood-look stickers to cover the screws on the outside of the cabinet, rather than more usual plastic caps. When originally purchasing I was surprised how cheap the cabinet was, now I'm not.
